4. UKPunting

D: You can kind of get a guide, from reading other peoples experiences of what to expect, and if that’s what you’re looking for or not… do you want me to be completely honest about that? I fucking hate it. Erm.. I started to dislike it when one or two girls mentioned that they were on it and that they didn’t like it.. and I’ve become quite close to a girl now and she’s on it, and I hate it. Erm…. I think that particular site brings it out in them, the industry in itself doesn’t. Erm… I know a few people off ukpunting in real life, and they’re not like they are on the boards. Erm, I notice when any girls post something on ukpunting, they almost completely insulted, banned, and generally belittled yeah. And I don’t think its right. They’re.. they can be nasty, and I don’t, I don’t know why. The girls are- they’re doing a job, it’s not an easy job. The guys want the girls to do that job otherwise they wouldn’t be using them, erm, then they go and say things on there its just…don’t like it. But it’s a fact of life it’s there, it exists. You can’t make them better, people are people, and no matter what you do they will be like that.

If someone wrote something brutal enough about me it would be enough to put me off doing it, definitely. If someone wrote on there about.. I dunno.. my hygiene, or.. how I looked- picking apart the way I looked.. Depending on how harsh they are that would probably put me off working.

I: And they’re all anonymous on there so they can say what they like, like there’s no consequences of what they say – It’s just a power- it’s a power thing. That’s what it is. Men gain power.. from writing anonymously on this site, creating an identity which.. is completely different in most cases to how they are in real life. As soon as they get behind that keyboard, as soon as they’re anonymous they will write what they like.
